Very investment heavy and takes quite a bit of practice to pilot it. Personally, I'd suggest picking a DPS class as your first for the story, getting to Punika and then boosting a support with the Punika pass.

Hello all, I'd like to make an alt focused on trying to solo my way through all of the guardian raids as I proceed through the tiers.For story, start with a dps class. It's still doable with a support but it goes through much faster if you have a dps that has large aoes or that has higher movement speed/skills. You can easily switch to a more preferred class once you reach North vern, where you unlock knowledge transfer. Knowledge transfer allows you to skip the story to ... Most fun: mostly shadow hunter, just so easy to land every ability, you can slap people in melee and in ranged and demon form is just icing on the cake you basically turn into a striker for a bit jumping around everywhere and doing massive damage , I’ve 3v1 whole teams before with demon form while both my teammates were fucking around in base ...My favourite class is arcanist, but it's not really a good choice for a new player. Very investment heavy and takes quite a bit of practice to pilot it. Personally, I'd suggest picking a DPS class as your first for the story, getting to Punika and then boosting a support with the Punika pass. The Space Bar is faster, the skill animations arent nearly as clunky. I'm still having fun playing the Arti, but you can definitely feel the difference, lol. I was gonna make a blade next. I got one, level 37 i think or something, but compared to my sorcerer, i don't know, feels less "fun". Blue gunlancer!.
